Visitations Beyond The Rainbow Bridge

Last October we lost our beloved 15 year-old tortie named Jade. It was unexpected; and although I had had a foreboding dream a few days before that she had run off into a wooded area and I was searching for her, I was not ready to let her go and felt devastated. After rushing her to the emergency vet on a Monday night and losing her, we came home on Tuesday to a double rainbow right in front of our home, something I hadn't seen before and haven't seen since. Fast forward to late January, I woke up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and half-asleep on my way back to bed, I could have sworn I heard Jade's distinctive meow. She was a very vocal kitty. I laid back down, with silent tears rolling because I didn't want to wake Vlad up but I couldn't stop thinking about her. I thought I sensed her presence but I was so sad that I really wasn't sure. I finally drifted back to sleep. When Vlad woke up a few hours later he said, "You aren't going to believe what I dreamed. I dreamed of Jade and it was so real. She told me she was happy and showed me she comes to the house and zooms around playing with Hercules and Klaus (our other cats). I literally had goosebumps. While I thought I heard and sensed her, he was dreaming of her. Vlad said he could hear her purr and it was all so very vivid. I will always believe she knew how sad I was and wanted us to know she's happy and still with us. I know in my heart that our pets, just like humans, live on and remain aware of us. Have you had any pet visitations?
